The factory in Omurtag is established in 1964 in an ecologically clean area. Throughout the years its reputation has developed to a level of producer of a quality material known not only in Europe, but also in the Arabic countries.

Established in 2002 the company inherits the traditions of “Mlechna Promishlenost “Mlados” Turgovishte”, which is a well known dairy producer since its founding in 1957.

The factory is situated in the town of Elena, only 40km away from V. Tarnovo and at an equal distance from both Sofia and Varna.

MLEKIMEX - Elena is established in 1997 and inherits the traditions of an existing small factory established in 1960.

The processing capacity of the factory is 150mt raw milk daily.
